Date: 2009-01-06 04:25 pm (UTC)Janelle Monae's Metropolis might barely count toward 2008, since her label changed (I think) at the beginning of this year. Cyberfunky, though not really that cyber OR funky (discuss...).
Does being emotionally stunted count as being a robot? If "I just need to feel something" counts, I would suggest the Veronicas' second album.
I'd like to think Rihanna's "Disturbia" counts for some reason. (Maybe it's because I secretly suspect she is a robot?)
