Have you seen the original video that inspired the choreography (in large parts the moves are exactly the same) in the bouncy video:

Over Thanksgiving my mom and I watched Sweet Charity and The Pajama Game, both choreographed by Bob Fosse. Despite the sentimentality of the plots, there's something really hard, almost angry, about the dancing. Which make the movements appropriate for Beyoncé, a woman both sentimental and stressed.
