Some movement in the top ten at last! Kid Rock has turfed Dizzee off the top spot, the Script have whinged their way up to number 3 and Katy Perry's questionable ode to lesbianism is the highest new entry at 4 (its bosh remix is at no.50!), making this week's poll an aptly all-girl affair...

It's not a bad thing- it allows for the song to be dealt with without unfortunate comparisons to Alison Moyet. The Satz don't come off well there, you see.

On its own the sample is fairly organic and integral to the song (as the verse is karaoke over the melody) so it doesn't stick out or anything. People can decide whether they like the song based on its own merits (and some appreciate it and some really don't) but I think the sample really does confuse the issue for critical listeners.
