Downloads might be killing off the album, but the Mercury dudes are carrying on regardless. This year's nominations are below, but do you poptimist folks actually listen to this sort of thing?

V true re: Benga (although I would say Burial album #1>Benga album>Burial album #2) but horrifyingly my psychotic ex-housemate likes them and is friended to me on last.fm and I cannot bring myself to listen to it as a consequence. This is k-lame but there it is.
