Girls Aloud to star in interweb soap

"British girl band GIRLS ALOUD will star in a teenage soap set in the music business - with the main character based on AMERICAN IDOL judge SIMON COWELL.

The drama series, entitled The Secret World Of Sam King, will be shown exclusively to users of teen social networking site Bebo and will be set inside their music label, Universal Records.

And the main character is a young boy in the postroom who spots new music talent - just like Cowell's early days in the music business."

I wonder if it will be as 'good' as S Club's Miami 7?

Fuck yes, I LOVED Miami 7, although LA 7 was the daddy, obviously.

Because some dudes' mileage may vary! I enjoyed watching Miami 7 until I realised that they were actually a real pop group, after which it seemed v strange (nb I found the Monkees strange too).
