What is Wobs without Wobs Parties? Tonight is the first of FOUR work Wobs dos, the next being on Thursday, then one next Monday, then one sometime in February, by which point we may be de-stressing the Wobish aspect a little bit I guess.

Few songs deal directly with office Christmas parties. Next Monday my favourite one will go up, but for now here's one of the few records to don the Secret Santa Suit and wrestle directly with the topic:

Thanks to ILX's Kit Brash for rendering this unto me. Bringing back memories of Star Turn On 45 Pints, this shared a recording engineer with records by Spearmint, Piano Magic and the Go!Team. As with many of these Xmo delights, further explanation would probably spoil the moment.

Ah! So I am not the only person to be having a post-wobs wobs party. I am lucky enough to be on two teams at werk and so get taken out for 2x drinX0r. But one is in January. Doh!

Why do you call it Wobs? This needs explaining!

On predictive text it used to be the case that if you typed in "Xmas" the phone would give you the word "Wobs" as an option. This worked for Nokia phones and possibly others too. So the name has kind of stuck.

(It may still be the case, I haven't tried for ages though.)

Oh! I'll try it on mine...it didn't work, but if you type wobs you do get xmas!
