All bets are off for this one - who will be victorious in the eyeliner battle of the century?

The rules have changed. Instead of rating each band out of 10 over each category, you must pick which band you would rate highest in that category. If you can't decide which band is best at that particular area of pop, tick the BOTHERD box!

Exactly how the results of this poll and the previous pop trumps will be converted into a card game are being kept under wraps for now - come along to Poptimism on June 7th if you want to find out!

My Chemical Romance vs Fall Out Boy vs Panic At The Disco

No. They're no longer emo since they decided to try and record an Oasis album. The exclamation mark is irrelevant by comparison.

Fall Out Boy get my sole tick, for extra-curricular activity, due to THE ASHLEE CONNEXION.

Panic At The Disco suck, yeah :(

STILL THE EASIEST TRUMPS EVER

I eventually went for marrying Ashlee Simpson being the better extra-curricular than writing a comic, because more people can do the latter than the former. Tough call though.

Oh, I forgot the comic. MCR easily win Musical Ability, but FOB triumph in the being-a-pop-band stakes, and thus won the others.

Panic! can just fuck off.

I hated having to check BOTHERD on some of these, because it was always a tie between MCR and Fall Out Boy, but BOTHERD is giving Panic some credit.

you've changed it to another duff picture (or at least an hotlinking-unfriendly one).

MCR own. The other two are crappy-doo's.

I love Panic In The Afternoon but tragically none of these categories were really designed for them to excel: I had to pick 'visuals' though as it was closest to 'best band featuring the most amazing use of hideous clashing patterns, also Ryan Ross' FACE'

OMG NONE OF U LYKE MCR'S 1ST ALBUM B A RL FAN. :P

I am disappointed by the Panic! hate, even if their new album does sound a bit gash from the reviews, 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out' is ace! It's all completely bonkers, of course but I thought disco-punk albums about the works of ...oh, what'shisfacethatIdon'tlikewhowroteFightClub would be right up poptimists' street amirite?

MCR have never been as good since Gerrard came off the drugs. This is unfortunate, of course but nevertheless a genuine truth. I do not like 'The Black Parade' at all, as an album and the song itself is like razors in mine ears or some similarly emo metaphor. :( This is of course because I am just massively disappointed that they didn't turn out to sound like The Offspring after the first album but even so.

The FOB situation is a strange one and not something which I am qualified to deal with. They are quite ace musically (I compulsively acquire everything they release) and seem like genuinely lovely people, all of them but I am still not sure I can approve somehow and I don't know why. :/

Panic!'s first album is about Chuck Pahlaniuk? Wow. I should really give it a listen. The second album isn't AWFUL per se, it's just very...kids discover their parents Beatles' collection circa Sgt. Pepper's and decide to make an album that sounds exactly like it except without any subtlety.
