Danity Kane f. Missy Elliott "Bad Girl"

New to me:
Nicole Richie "Dandelion"
Stereotyp & Al Haca "Blaze N' Cook (Kruder's Jiggy Remix)"
Grupa Zeris "Ta, Da, Tako Je"
Amy Grant "Breath Of Heaven (Mary's Song)"
Grup Hepsi "Ask Sakizi"
Toshihiko Tahara "Dakishimete Tonight"
The Danity Kane album looks like a winner, the María Daniela Y Su Sonido Lasser album has as many or more great songs but a lot of it struggles with María's continual tendencies to go punky and shouty at the expense of the melody, and a lot of it struggles with the rhythm's tendency to go fast and punky at the expense of swing. Both of these tendencies are virtues in "Duri Duri" where they're just a tinge that makes their redo of an Italodisco classic extra exciting, and are virtues in "Dame Más" which is a controlled eruption. Maybe the tunefulness of the rest will ultimately overcome the shoutiness as I give this more listens, but a lot reminds me of Cansei De Ser Sexy shooting itself in the foot.
Still haven't heard the Erykah Badu. How do you guys think she stacks up against classic Teena Marie? (And this; Lex, I'm going to keep posting these until you listen to them.)
