hey that Lil' Boosie track is TERRIFIC - love the sloooow piano riff, like it was lifted from some climactic horror movie scene. video is fun too, they all look like they're having a grand time.

I saw the Ciara video last year sometime and was rather disappointed by it - not the song, that's awesome 4eva, but the video just seems such an afterthought. there's barely even any dancing in it! they really f'ed up the singles from The Evolution - releasing ANYTHING in the UK after 'Like A Boy' would've been a start (or releasing 'Promise' in the first place! agh idiots) but christ, why go with 'Can't Leave 'Em Alone' (pretty but inessential 'So What' rehash) when you have gems like 'C.R.U.S.H.' and 'Bang It Up' on the album?

it's dead pretty, and it had kept me sane at a crap job post last year - so it's quite essential in my book!

I hadn't! On one youtube listen I like the Rod Michael quite a bit, less so the Sophia Maria, though it might grow on me. Didn't get a chance to hear the Jayms Madison (serious lol at spelling) but she sounds great: tried to d/l it but having REALLY BIZARRE problem with my mac, which refuses to load any zshare page!!!!

it's not that bizarre, i have a pc and i have problems loading zshare pages all the time!

i wasn't that impressed with Sophia Maria at first either... but it's a grower, yes.
