i think "bring" is the weak word in the line -- it's not *quite* crisp enough as regards agency (who's doing the blowing?) and the fumble-around gives you time to think "obvious rhyme before needed sense" -- i'm actually very fond of the LP its from, with all its weaknesses... also it ends with clinking of glasses and p[artyclatter, hences segues straight INTO the first roxy LP!

In the U.S. it wasn't even on an LP, except an ex post facto compilation. Was it on Satanics in Britain?

it was recorded during the satanic session, and put out as b-side to "we love you" -- cz of where it is on "get stoned: 30 greatest hits", which i knew much better much earlier i always forget it isn't on satanic

Satanic is vastly underrated. Thought they did a good job with all those Velvets drones and Mothers goofarounds and even a Kinks imitation ("2000 Man," really close to "Death Of A Clown").
