The Grills seem to be following the Sugababes' current trend of sticking sequins on their faces, and why not - not much else is going on.

OK in order of h0ttness:
1. Nadine (swoon)
2. Cheryl (good hair)
3. Kimberley (hmmm)
4. Nicola! Dude! Whitewash is not a substitute for make-up even in C18th Paris!
5. Sarah (aiyee woman, bad hair, bad hair, someone fetch the frizz-ease)

IN SUMMARY: better video than 'Call The Shots', but not as good as 'Sexy!NoNoNo'.

Also, 'Can't Speak French' sounds way better out of context of the album, i.e. without being surrounded by MUCH BETTER SONGS.

For me it takes the prize from Long Hot Summer as a new career low, singles-wise. Can't think of many songs I'd less rather hear as a single than this one. It's just boring, nothing happens, the tune's dull and it just doesn't seem to go anywhere.

I personally think Control of the Knife, Girl Overboard & What You Crying For would all make better single candidates than this.

What You Crying For would be an even lower nadir than "Walk This Way"!

Girl Overboard strikes me as the most likely fourth single, and there will be one, because I really can see CSF being a very, very big hit and going to #1.

If "Control Of The Knife" had an ACTUAL SECOND VERSE and didn't completely repeat itself constantly (the fatal flaw of the whole album, too much repetition) it would be the best song on Tangled Up.

I think Nicola looks great! They kind of all do. This task you have set yourself is surely like trying to pick one's favourite flavour of ice-cream i.e. totally dependent on what day it is, what mood you're in, and so on. Although, yeah, Sarah's hair is a bit X-Tina circa Lady Marmalade.

I think the idea has been to show other sides of GA? 'Call The Shots' was a pretty untypical GA single and did the business, so we have another midtempo untypical number. As great as they are, 'Girl Overboard' and much of the album sound exactly like what you'd expect from them.

I love it, anyways.
