The missing pop acts on the teenagers poll were ADELE at #6 and KATE GNASH at #9 (tho skyecaptain got that one).

The missing sports dude was AMIR KHAN.

Seriously. Why would the people in your office think that kids would be aware of him ahead of say... I dunno, Fabregas, Sharapova, Federer etc. Hell, even other boxers like Calzaghe and Hatton probably have a bigger profile than Amir Khan amongst the yoof of today.

Fabregas is not much of a household name to ppl with no interest in sport though - ie he is back page famous not front page famous.

Hattong and Calzaghe have been front page famous for a matter of months, Amir Khan has managed it for years but surely there are more famous boxers out there?

Also I guess some of the logic is that Amir Khan is 1x actual teenager, or near as dammit.
