Hey Poptimists!

Would you like a weekly (or fortnightly depending on how much of it there is) post with backlinks to that week's actual primary music content (i.e. video club posts, MP3 posts)? I just wondered if enough people like to catch up at weekends to warrant one.

And if you can think of any other nu features you would like on Poptimists, then SPEAK NAO.

youtube totally gums up my home computer so i hardly evah use it (may be a firefox problem may be a memory problem)

re MP3s - depends what service you use - Yousendit ones expire but other services are better (I like Sendspace but I'm sure there are better ones out there).

I'd be happy to contribute if so! I haven't posted mp3s very much because I prefer to draw people's attention to new stuffz via videos, and it seems a bit much to then do a separate post under flock for the mp3s.

I'd probably take advantage of such a weekly post. I generally tend to keep articles I want to go back to as 'Unread' in my RSS reader. But then what happens is that they build up and I never have the time to go and download content. And by the time I get around to it, often the links have expired. Not that a weekly update will solve that issue, but if it's all in one place, it will probably act as an incentive to me to download it sooner!

Yes please, Poptimists is very work-unfriendly, especially a lot of the good stuff.

Yes. I don't DL at work, and mostly read LJ there in the week, when I manage to find time. Weekends would be good for DLing and looking at vids.
