"Die Another Day" aside, Bond themes have become completely marginalized in pop culture. I don't know who did the theme song to Casino Royale, Tommorow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, or Goldeneye, nor have I heard the songs.
In Britain maybe, but not in America. I'm not a Bond expert by any means, but if I think of Bond themes, I can think of classic 60's ones ("Goldfinger", et al), "Live and Let Die", "View to a Kill" (only Bond theme to hit #1 in America) and "Die Another Day", and no others.
I personally think Goldeneye is absolutely right up there with the 60s classics - Tina puts in a really understated performance for the first couple of verses before absolutely belting it towards the end, all backed by really beautiful strings. The structure is great too, it doesn't really have a chorus as such, it just builds and builds. If you don't know it I think it's well worth tracking down. And all written by Bono, remarkably enough.

All of the other 90s ones I can entirely take or leave.
