Longtime ILMer Matt Cibula has started up a site called Cave 17, with contributors from Stylus and Pfork and ILM, plus me and a few other Poptimists (I think anthonyeaston will be posting there). I just wrote my first post, which extended some of my year-end pop thots.

Right now the format is pretty much freeform, with movies and music and sports and books (kind of like an American FreakyTrigger?). You should check it out!

I can't figure out how to log in or register in order to comment. I was wondering if my Freaky Trigger user name and password would work, because that is also Wordpress, but evidently not. And I couldn't find where you could register at Cave 17.

So I might as well say this here: does Cobra Starship's 'debut' mean the '07 album? '¡Viva La Cobra!' is their second: their debut came out last year and, 'bring it' aside, is... competent but not all that interesting? Admittedly we disagree on any number of things, but I'd be surprised if that was the Cobra record you were boosting.

yus. wordpress is, as far as i'm aware, an application, not a website, if you see what i mean.
