Originally I had a cassette tape copy of teh Holy Bible, and so much guesswork was done - "hope I black out when tomorrow comes" being one lyric that does NOT exist on 'Of Walking Abortions' and which I must remember to use one day, in an emo poem perhaps - however inevitably once I got my CD copy I PORED over the lyrics reproduced therein, OBSESSIVELY.

(Me too! The Holy Bible on one side, Gold Against the Soul in the other. I remember getting the cd from HMV and opening it up FEVERISHLY on the bus on the way home and er, totally not getting about 80% of the references in it AT ALL. I think now I'm probably only at 75% :))

The line that still baffles me to this day, utterly:

But then it is from what freakytigger has correctly identified as the (lyrically) well-dodgy 'PCP'.
