trying to get my singles back in order -- since the old bookcase collapsed and i moved them in just armfuls -- i have found an UNOPENED PACKAGE from A&M from late 1992, the cardboard discoloured, the glue britlte and unsticky!!

a. to be fair to me this was when i was totally snowed under at w!re
b. and plus A&M d00d!!
c. within there are three press releases ---
i. abt DEL AMITRI releases and tour (for further information contact andy prevezer)
ii. abt a new GERRY RAFFERTY SINGLE and upcoming tour (for further information contact vicky serene)
iii. abt new signing KRUSH PERSPECTIVE, label debut prod. JAM & LEWIS (info contact andy prevezer)
d. and two actual real 7" singles!! viz
e. "get out of my life woman" by g.rafferty (haha GOOD TITLE gerry)
f. "let's get together (so groovy now)" by krush perspective (cute black girl trio lookin uneasy and awkward in microskirts and beehives on the picture sleeve)

i am busy tidyin currently but will REVIEW both as the weekend progresses

"get out my life woman" = classic Alan Toussaint song as performed by Lee Dorsey (w/ the Meters as his backing group ie well funky) ie poss not playing to ger's 'strengths' - but we shall see!

korrekt -- tho the label credit makes the same spelling error, it's "allen toussaint" not alan

i cannot say i wz reminded much of the meters on my first listen -- U2 backin chris rea wd be closer to the mark :\
