X Factor foghorn Leona Lewis' new single 'Bleeding Love' is a wibbly-wobbly ballad with a GREAT snare drum but which is otherwise quite unremarkable.

However these two tunes are pretty good: Suga Sweet is smooth West Coast RnB with guest rapping by a chap called Tah Mac (TARMAC DO YOU SEE!), and Private Party reminds me of Mariah's recent stuff, with Ludacris doing a middle eight for good measure. Why these two tracks aren't on Leona's new album I have NO IDEA.

'Private Party' is pretty awesome and yes, very Emancipation Of Mimi! 'Suga Sweet' has a great beat and will probably grow on me more with time. I don't mind 'Bleeding Love' but the other two are waaaay superior. It's good to hear that Leona can and is willing to do uptempo tracks - I hope there will be SOME on her album.
