Ha, identical Pulpinions!

I went and forgot about Underwear, that should have been my fifth tick, I LOVE that song, for various reasons, but lyrics are simple yet ridiculously resonant to girls of a certain disposition.

Ha, here we disagree then. Underwear goes along with Pencil Skirt and Live Bed Show as tracks on Different Class that are, to my ears, pleasant but unspectacular. Perhaps it's because I'm not fussed over many Pulp lyrics and these tracks don't do anything interesting musically. Also why DC is probably only my 4th (ish) favourite Pulp album, despite having great singles.

Ah, I've just been ranting incoherently below about the perfect meeting of lyrics/music/vocal style that really make Pulp for me. I always want to rate Different Class higher than I do overall because I love those little kitchen sink dramas like Underwear so much, but in the end I plump for epic and rate other stuff above it.
