Hanging on the Telephone is overrated. If UCB is a dirge, that's a double-dirge, albeit a mildly hyperactive sounding dirge.

It's also very SHORT which is annoying when it's the Blondie track you have to hand whilst DJing. It always goes down well though.

This is very true. I have been guilty of doing so on more than one occasion despite not enjoying hearing in clubs much myself. Quite glad it's short though...

HOTT was our COVER VERSION when i was in a band, except we didn't do the hard bit, so it was possibly even shorter, especially as we did it quite fast as well...

The original by the Nerves is better (this is prob not true - the Blondie versh def. has better drumming - but its a gd snob/cred line all the same - also Jack Lee is kind've an underrated figure - Blondie also do his "Will Anything Happen", he wrote 'Come Back and Stay' which Paul Young had a hit w/, and his "Walking Out On Love" is another hit waiting for someone to cover)
