So on Now 3 Cyndi Lauper came through a very strong line-up to win it. NOW 4, firmly in mid-late '84, has more songs than before (meaning an even HUGER poll), but to my eyes fewer clear contenders, but there are several intriguing love-it-or-hate-it options too and as every yr forthright views are welcome in the comments box, as are requests for YSIs, real actual YSIs and so on.

This one had the pig on the cover, hurrah.

Moroder and Oakey was the SPECIAL SONG for my first ever crush. I think it was the first time I ever listened to a song with the debilitating habit of paying attention to the lyrics and thinking "WOW that could be ABOUT US".

There's a lot here I don't know either which alarms me. Also alarming is the scant amount of good here compared to the previous NOW which was bustin' at the seams with greatness.
