Year In Pop, Week 34
Aug. 27th, 2007 09:31 amHi dere pop-tickers (do you see?!) I am filling in for
freakytigger on these polls whilst he is off on his summer jaunts. Hopefully, I will not rubbish it up too badly but if any of these have blatantly been in the polls before then tell me. The Official Charts Company haven't pulled themselves together enough to update yet so I had to do this by comparing last week and this week's chart off the BBC, ie: I hope I got this wrong somewhere because otherwise this is the worst week for singles in the history of the known universe. :(

Date: 2007-08-27 09:58 am (UTC)I like the Maxïmo Park, although to be honest I kind of talked myself into it - they have done (could do?) way better
I didn't think Kaiser Chiefs were going to release a third single from this album, after having barely made the top 20 with Everything Is blah blah, and this will have flopped awesomely by next week as did the last one
Haven't heard the Kano/CD, so I'm off to youtube that

Date: 2007-08-27 11:31 am (UTC)Elvises - I really like both these Elvis tracks! And I ticked him last week so I should be consistent really.
Kano & Craig - great chorus, Kano is very endearing.
Maximo Park - judging by the title this song is going to make me Very Very Angry, isn't it. Oh wait, it's just another boring song that doesn't even provoke a reaction for me. Whatevs.
Kaisers - terrible dirge of a song and minging concept video.
