Quite. However, being clever != being able to express your arguments well. Or indeed, being clever != having an actual point. K-punk may well be clever, but he hasn't yet shown me whether he can engage in the latter two disciplines. We're lucky here at poptimists in that we have a number of clever people who have something interesting to say and know how to say it.
