there is admittedly a radical faction who get very upset about guitar bands/indie, but there's not going to be an expulsion of their ranks, Militant style, until their antics lead to something extreme like taking taxi cabs around to punch libertines fans in the faces.
we should start to sub-categorise ourselves. we used to do 'poptimism is' and tear back and forth on certain fault lines of what makes 'poptimism' and we could invent a whole vocabulary to map out the different poptimist positions.
I thought you were suggesting we had an orgafun poptimism event involving driving around in cabs punching various sorts of music fan in the face there for a moment.
