Mmm, her voice has got a lot richer. She sounds a bit like Tina Turner in places, in a good way.

I like it a lot, which is a surprise because J Lo almost uniformally annoys me.

Heard this now. Like it a lot. Especially the little bridge into the chorus (the bit which then becomes the counter-melody played by the strings in the chorus itself).

'Aint It Funny' confuses me because there was the lovely sort of Latin song, which I liked a lot and then there was a ballad-ish thing with Ja Rule, which I did not like so much.

Well, to be fair, she did release a remix album, and most of the big singles are on there.

Nice feeling. Prettiness coming at you in segmented bits of string and bass, hints of Shaft guitar; she's not pushing too hard on the vocals but the singing has a nice build-up. There's no grabby hook or overwhelming choruses, but I don't know how much it needs them. (Probably does need them more than it's got 'em, actually, if it wants to compete with "Umbrella" and "Hey Hey Hey.")
