Okay, that campaign to get "Roll With It" or whatever crap Wasis single to #1 was really bad, but I think this one might be a case of rewriting history I can deal with - getting "Stop" to #1 where it would/should have been had it not been up against Run DMC vs Jason Nevins...

I think if that campaign actually succeeded I would have to go and hang myself. Not just because of my intense dislike of the Spice Girls but because of the whole, hideous mockery of everything that is remotely meant to be the point of buying records, in my opinion.

Have to go and buy bird food with mother. However, will elaborate on this comment later.

Don't worry! It won't succeed!

I'm in two minds. Stop is, for me, a great pop song. But it lost out to another great pop song. Sad, but true. I'd have loved for it to have been #1, particularly given the odious "Holler" did, but, well, they did have an awful nice run.
