14 out of 41 tracks in for the Pop Open so far. At the weekend I reached a momentous (but sensible) decision viz. rather than run the groups in A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H order we'll go with whatever fills up first. Less stress! Currently this is looking like Group C - Sex.

(The only group with no submissions yet is G - "Injustice", which I sheepishly say doesn't exactly surprise me...)

I also have all four entries for the League Of Pop final (thankyou) and will put them up tonight, for voting in a day or two's time.

When are the Pop Open tracks due? My computer is in a box atm and I have work until 9 and/or 10 tonight so dunno if can get it set up until tomorrow evening when can send song.

Have one (1) very good song on this computer but sadly has nothing to do with Money (took me about seven goes not to type 'Monet' and when typing that I typed 'money' O HI DERE BRANE) so really will have to wait until then unless it's urgent at which point will have to brave younger brother's dodgy musical selection and/or find my CDs, wot are mostly not in my parents' house I suspect.

Well the notional deadline is Wednesday but I set that deadline in the knowledge that if I got half the tracks by it I'd be happy.

yes sorry i was so sulky at my non-victory i took my ball home have been a bit overwhelmed with stuff this last week or so (and configured last.fm for my randomised listening needs), so have lost track of where we got to -- this is busy week at work (tho today has been SLOW SLOW SLOW unfortunately for later in the week)

Hahaha this you say now, after I spent the whole weekend fretting over my final pick for Group A. (...Not that having got it done is a bad thing, or anything.)

Will send it in tonight, anyway -- ysi was giving me crap yesterday with Opera, so I'll have to see if it cooperates better in Firefox.

No need to fret! I am pushing the 'don't be embarrassed by the things you like' ethic to its logical extreme with my selection. And we're in the same group, so essentially it's looking okay.
