It wasn't Simply Red. Sorry.

You have SEVEN ticks from the Red Hot Chili Peppers' surprisingly large range of UK Top 40 hits. Use them wisely.

An email just popped into my Inbox after I left that last comment, from Universal Music, offering me the chance to enter a competition.

1st Prize: Meet your favourite Universal Music artist in the flesh!! Just tell us who your favourite artist is and you could be in with a chance of meeting them! Keane, Jack Johnson, U2, Marilyn Manson, Razorlight, PJ Harvey, Paul Weller, The Automatic, Metallica, Weezer, +44, Snow Patrol, The Killers and The Kaiser Chiefs to name a few. We have them all.

1 x evil plan is hatching. Mwuhahahaha.

Here's a true question for the Poptimist community. If you could pick a way to see Johnny Borrell wiped off the face of the planet, what would you choose? Hmm, maybe I'll make this into a poll.

I think Foo Fighters and Green Day will probably go on forever. Every three or four years they can chuck out an album that sounds just like the previous one, and masses of people will still buy it regardless. Plus they've already been through lulls in their careers (Green Day were pretty much written off after Warning, which is crap) and have only gone on to be even bigger.
