A burning question

I cannot remember if this has ever been asked on ILM before, but anyway, it comes out of a chat I had on teh Gmail last night.

What is better: COUNTING in songs, or SPELLING in songs? Particularly good or rub examples of both welcome.

Supplementary question: Is counting down better than counting up?

Gotta go for counting, as it would make a better compilation - you'd have the likes of steps AND Gamelan son of lion ensemble.

Also I'm a careless speller.
