His idea of how it should be is that the UK should win occasionally, and as such, because he thinks that, everyone else should. He's a blind, one-eyed, egocentric commentator who has nothing interesting to say, and also, he wasn't even funny this year. The last time I remember him actually being funny was 2003.

His opinion of what type of music is "good" or "good for Eurovision" changes every year anyway. If the English submitted a sweeping Balkan ballad, Terry would immediately love the stuff. His taste varies with whatever gives him room to make snide comments.
