POPTIMISM CANCELLED

Just got this on email:

"Tomorrow night is cancelled at the Union Tavern. Basically they have been granted a permanent late licence, but with that came a whole raft of health & safety adjustments and soundproofing (above and beyond what they were putting in). So they are doing that now, but it won’t be finished for another week or so. Then it has to be signed off by the council. Therefore tomorrow is a no can do."

Sorry everyone! We will be back soon I'm sure! on June 1st hurrah

If you want to see all your Poptimism chums, some of them "virtually DJing" with the aid of a "juke box", come to the PAKENHAM ARMS instead. (It's the pub just up the road from the Union Tav that we end up in after the club anyway.)

I will probably not be there - I am in constant pain at the moment, which appears to be a side effect of my recent antidepressant changes. I have just cut back on the new one, but I'm told the pains may not start to fade for several days.
