Hello poptimists, I've barely listened to music for the past month and have very very little to do for the next week and a half other than fear ants, so what have I missed? Are there any great tunes, new or old, I should be aware of? I feel the need for new music in my life. I have slsk and I'm not afraid to use it.

I did watch MTVFlux this mornign to help, but they kept playing Mika so I reverted to On The Buses.

Get the new Armand Van Helden stuff, that's pretty cool. Amerie's single is definitely worth a punt, and 'My Moon My Man' by Feist (http://www.listentofeist.com/) is totally ace. Even if she is indier than a B&S fan in a polka dot dress.

Actually, they played You Don't Know Me on the telly today - instant flashback to college, and another record that I'm not sure whether it's good but I'd forgotten or good because it reminds me of a summer or two. I get that a lot with AVH.

The rest of the new Feist album however is k-boring :(

I am really enjoying the Spirit Catcher (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Night-Vision-Spirit-Catcher/dp/B000MM1E92) CD. Funky electro house, sounds a bit like Daft Punk with all the corners knocked off and the rough edges smoothed over. Which on paper is a terrible idea but the reality is mostly great.

All the new M.I.A. stuff is very good.
