Needing A Sandwich level on Natasha now upped to 'Red' but aside from that, awesome video. I particularly like the fact she can't really move in those boots but somehow manages to carry off wiggling freakishly anyway.
It would be really quite ace if someone made a mash up of that and 'Lip Gloss.'
I seriously don't see this, I think she looks great! I mean we're hardly in N Richie/V Beckham territory here, I don't think SEB is all that thinner than me in that video, and Natasha just looks lanky, like a less muscly teenage Venus Williams.
I know there're different levels of what counts as unhealthy etc. but Natasha's waist is just ...weird there. She has the wrong curve to her hips in a very ...wrong way. She's not quite Nicole territory but then I never hit Nicole-appearance when I was busily starving myself a few years ago so it depends on bone-structure. etc.
Thing is, you're a male so acceptable levels of thinness are diff. because females auto-store fat etc. and we're meant to be squashy or something. I dunno, I have a very warped perception of it all anyway. I would say Natasha was a lot thinner than me, though and I am guilty of back-glockenspiel.
SEB would probably be ok except it's all come off her very fast so she looks auto-gaunt. Some chips would probably not go amiss, all the same.
Yeah I've often wondered whether the "real women are squashy and have curves" trope is as harmful as any societal pressure to be thin but every time I've said this out loud to a girl they've told me to shut up. But I'm sure this condemnation of waifs, even really unhealthily thin ones, can't be good! And it happens a lot, maybe not as much as thin girls appear on magazine covers, but it does seem that when people want to boost curvy girls like Serena Williams or actual fat girls like Beth Ditto - who I love but surely she is as unhealthily fat as Nicole Richie was unhealthily thin? and she is also now being held up as a role model based partly on her size? - they can't do it without saying things along the lines of
- the only men who want waifish women are gay fashion designers, real men want women with curves not sticks with not ass/tits like Maria Sharapova - Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan are destroying one or more of the self-confidence of women worldwide, the upbringing of young girls, and SOCIETY ITSELF, and they should be DESTROYED
I kind of think societal pressure to be an acceptable size is a good thing, where an acceptable size = one which is healthy-ish give or take a few pounds either size, and one that the individual is happy with. This includes pudginess and waifishness but not obesity or anorexia.
Dudes, calm down: Natasha is still AN CHILD and hasn't finished growing yet! Beware of falling into the "has Britney had a boob job no she's just got a bit more voluptuous now she is actually an womang" trap! Whereas SEB is old enough and wise enough to know that pies are A Good Thing.
