So after having the original version of the Robyn album on my PC since -- actually, I can check this -- the 24th May 2005, as pretty much the first thing I did was email it to a load of chumz, I finally bought the UK release from Fopp on Sunday. And... what have they done to Bum Like You??? :-( :-( I really liked the acoustic guitar, and the tempo seems all wrong on this new version too.

[EDIT: So the new version of Robotboy also backs away from the ballad side of things too -- what is the reasoning behind this? It's not that I don't like squelchy electro basslines, I just don't think this improves the song. Nice to have With Every Heartbeat on the record though. The sticker on the front of the CD case suggests they're hoping this will be the big single].

I actually ripped this to the laptop when in the Plan B office (PROOF IF IT WERE NEEDED THAT SHE IS INDIE)! I only meant to get 'With Every Heartbeat' because it is beautiful but I didn't mean to rip the whole album.
