League Of Pop Update

Pop Premiership now updated with players and track details. The results leaves inhibitorylinks on top of the Premiership table with 6 points, leading on 'goal difference' from fugitivemotel, with jel_bugle in 3rd place on 4 points. At the other end, two defeats apiece leave hauntedballroom and braisedbywolves in early season difficultires.

The players for week four are the aforementioned hauntedballroom in the Pop Premiership and poptasticuk in the Chart Championship. Could you send me intros (including five liked things) at leagueofpop@googlemail.com over the weekend - should be two interesting rounds, I think!

(We're now getting to the point where I might be running into scheduling issues I should have sorted out - I will try and post a full schedule tomorrow, as a reminder.)

Is now a good time to mention that I'm on holiday from the 1st April to 11th April? That's a Sunday to a Wednesday, so I suspect I will have to submit at least one track (and possibly two) despite not having seen the blurb (and in all likelihood having no knowledge of the player's musical tastes).

You can't, sorry! Well, not till the next game starts: this 'season' runs till May or so, and then after a discreet interval we'll start another game, which you can join. The advantage is that the next one will be even better, since I will have worked all the logistics out.

I do post the submitted tracks each week so you can download them and judge for yourself as a 'spectator'.
