This really is a treasure trove, e.g.:

She may have had her moments high on drugs - and she's made no secret of some recreational pharmaceutical predilections - but she is also high on life.

And the tenor of the end of the piece is quite bonkers: Who Will Speak On Behalf Of The Youth? I Will.

But oddly enough, I do think he's right about her personality: she really is sweet and genuine, despite her half-vengeful subject matter, and she can't calculate her way out of a wet-paper bag, and on her blog she still hasn't figured out how not to hit the space bar before commas, and she's totally appealing. Which wouldn't make her music good, of course, except it is, and she's in her music nicely. dickmalone has complained about the thinness of her sound in comparison to the voluptuousness of actual soca, and he's right, but in her case the thinness is not a flaw, or anyway it fits what she's trying to do at the moment, half-way between dance and diary. (I thought the Slits got way worse the closer they got to Real Reggae.)
