Is this a recognisable 2006? Not if yr a Brit voter, most probably. (EDIT: I stand corrected, yrs Grandad.) I'm not sure I've ever heard TV on the Radio (who topped the JP albums list).

as I said on ilx the lower-middle area is a good place to be: with many of the ones really low down it's less "interesting and unique non-herd perspective" as "there's a reason no one shares your shit taste you loser". And of course anyone in the top 100 should be EMBARRASSED.

Ha, I'm in the "There's a reason no one shares your taste, you loser" category. I do beat Dom, Geeta, and Don, but finished behind Marcello, even. And behind Matt Cibula, who always votes a lot of Latino stuff that no one else recognizes. He beats me because T.I. beats Lily. But I was not the only person to vote for Eric Church! Don't know who the other voter was, though.

geeta and p sherburne's lists are totally ace, it's just that they're totally dance and few others seem to be voting for dance singles (inc me) - probably because it's so very apples/oranges to try to compare them to pop, r&b, hip-hop, indie, rock or any other song-based single.

Five people including you voted for Eric Church (most people voted for "Two Pink Lines" for single, though). The other album voter was J. Edward Keyes (http://www.idolator.com/?op=jp_showpoll&user_id=15157). Mentions you, K-Fed, and Hannah Montana in the comments via a Ghostface lyric. (You can search the Jackin' Pop results with the search bar in the corner there, which I overlooked until someone pointed it out.)

Search is cranky (e.g., "Lily Allen" only gets three hits, which of course is wrong, and "Cham" gets his singles but not his album, so I haven't found who the other one is who voted for it). And I don't trust the results I do get, therefore. They did seem to eyeball things well (e.g., counted all seven votes for "Don't Save Me," even though one of the voters, Eppy, identified the performer as Marit Bergman).
