Is this a recognisable 2006? Not if yr a Brit voter, most probably. (EDIT: I stand corrected, yrs Grandad.) I'm not sure I've ever heard TV on the Radio (who topped the JP albums list).

Wouldn't have said they were anything like The Darkness, like one of the above comments (would have said Bruce Springsteen, which makes it sound even more horrible), but the rest is pretty spot on. I really liked the album briefly and then realised it was a bit shit and I was just wrong.

Can't see it doing well here at all though, it's too 'classic American rock' in its sound and not remotely danceable, which seems to be the indie thing these days.
