"Save A Horse" is wonderful, and it's at best my fourth or fifth favorite on the album.

Well sure but this is one of the truly greatest albums of the decade. One odd thing I noticed about this year is that while it's a fairly middle of the pack year (to me) for singles, it was an absolutely incredible year for albums. "Horse of a Different Color", "Autobiography", "Unwritten", "Restless", "Annie-mal", "Breakaway" all not impossibly in my top 10 of the decade, with "Breakaway" being number one. "What Will The Neighbors Say" being the best Girls Aloud album as well. In any event, that entire top 6 fits on top of anything that was released in 2006 (in my opinion) (though 2006 WAS a great year for singles)
