From:A little bit of Sandra in the sun
Date: 2006-11-16 02:57 pm (UTC)1. Metallica, "Whiskey in the Jar"
2. Ricky Martin, "Livin' La Vida Loca" (C2/Columbia)
3. Trick Daddy featuring Trina, "Nann" (Slip n Slide)
4. Leftfield featuring Afrika Bambaataa and Nick Rapaccioli, "Afrika Shox" (Hard Hands/Higher Ground/Columbia)
5. Hardknox, "Come in Hard" (Jive Electro)
6. Blaque, "808" (Track Masters/Columbia)
7. Eve, "Gotta Man" (Ruff Ryders)
8. Lou Bega, "Mambo No. 5" (RCA)
9. Kid Rock, "Bawitdaba" (Lava/Atlantic)
10. Ruff Ryders featuring Eve and Nokio, "What Ya Want" (Ruff Ryders)
If I had to do it all over again, "Nann" would be number one, "...Baby One More Time" (which I didn't even vote for) would be number 2, and "Back That Azz Up" (which I also didn't vote for) would be number 3. Damned if I know what I'd eliminate, however. "Gotta Man" and "Bawitdaba," I guess. Or "Come In Hard." "808" is the best of the year's Destiny's Child or TLC type tunes (prod. by Left Eye).
