I'd love to hear Ashlee's version, but that was a year before YouTube, so kidz weren't recording every concert on cell phone and posting. I wonder what people'd have thought hearing Ashlee dance front stage and sing, "O look at my face/My name is Might Have Been/My name is Never Was/My name's Forgotten."

I remember that Jimmy Draper heard her do it in the Bay Area (San Jose or somewhere on the peninsula) and someone else heard her do it in New Jersey, so I'm guessing it was a basic part of her set on one of her tours, just as "Sweet Dreams" was part of her set on her recent tour. She's also covered Madonna's "Burnin' Up," before giving that name to one of her own songs.
