Ah September. The sun is back (Back! BACK!) in earnest and we can look ahead to the Autumn release schedule after a somewhat disappointing Summer in terms of chart-friendly bangers and anthems (sure threre's been a few but look at the leaderboard below and you'll notice the dearth so far). Anyway, time to review August's collection of top 40 hits:

Yes, the theme of the past month or so really has been the biggest names coming through. Has Kelis released her single yet? 'Bossy' is an odd choice of lead (esp considering what else is on the album) but it's much better than one thinks on first listen.

According to skillextric over on the ILM UK charts thread, Kelis available to download this past week and missed the Top 40! So don't expect a particularly high placing for it next Sunday.
