Limited Edition Paris CD 'hard to find'

I wasn't aware Banksy did remixes but my curiosity is now piqued.

What are your thoughts on this matter- is this actually art of some variety or just someone being a twat? (Banksy's deeds, I'm referring to, not Paris')

[If this is wrong, delete it and all that but I thought it was poptimism-relevant]

surely i) virgin are going to honour anyone who comes in to replace one of these and ii) the banksyed versions will be resellable for more than they cost anyway?

i don't see that it is hurting people with enough disposable income to buy the paris hilton album that much.

(n.b. is paris actually a bona fide pop hit person now? or is she just being discussed bcz she's p. hilton and hasn't really sold that many records?)

The stunt seems lazy and as a statement it is, but I'm kind of impressed about the sheer amount of work that must have gone into actually getting a fake CD into the cases for a very prominent major label release.

I'm now trying to think of the funniest record anyone could have done this to and I've come to the conclusion it's probably Kid A.
