i still really like the machiny-ness of the drumming in satisfaction -- but yes, i think they are very dreary beyond this

the first EP also had "working in a coalmine" which i kind of like, tho it's really just a silicon teens/"memphis tennessee" workout (devo may have been first on this tho)

i wasn't defending Devo overall -- i generally agree with you -- but i think this one is genius! and i'm saying that without any kind of critic's hat on.
