re the Lipps Inc - it's one of the few I've actually heard (about half my ticks are there for general artist-approval eg Pointer Sisters)! I love it to bits. I got their best of out of the library when I discovered that Justus Köhncke's 'Timecode' was based on 'How Long', and the entire thing was like, ooh, so that's where they got that idea from x 100.

Pylon were a big favourite of R.E.M.'s - they both came from Athens Georgia, and R.E.M. covered the Pylon song Crazy. Herky-jerky nu wave stuff.

It's a good Paul Simon song! Not really one of his top 10 but worth a listen.
