Actually, to clarify, let me put it this way: Prince is goth only in the way that Robyn is indie, i.e. for ideological reasons personal to the speaker.
I didn't really know about Prince either until I started dating my current girlfriend. Clearly this is your problem Lex, you just need to find yourself a good woman! ;)
