Test Yr Poptimists aka Make My Day More Interesting

I am stuck at home w/a cold and conceived this idea for a QUIZ. Here it is:

You use the poll below to tell me a favourite act (as in maker(s) of music - I'm using "act" not "band" or "artist" b/c those are loaded words, but I don't mean "your favourite act of DEVIATION" or anything, though some of the answers will no doubt fit that too).

It can be your favourite act ever or a favourite right now, something everyone associates you with or a secret pleasure. BUT please be honest. Also please answer by oh say 1.30 PM TODAY.

I will view the answers at my leisure and construct the quiz, which will involve matching the acts to the poptimists who picked them. Simplicity itself! Obviously WINNING the quiz will be easier if you know lots of LJ people but everyone on Poptimists is by definition someone you ought to know so view it as an education. Anyway as One True Voice would tell you it's the 'taking part' that matters. (also if you have entered the poll then you are bound to get ONE answer right unless you are some kind of omni-fool.)

Answers by end of the day, comments screened (will unscreen any that aren't entries), watch THIS SPACE for yr scores, if you don't know who any of these people are then use your psychic abilities to pick (or ignore them).
