The titanic clash that was the Now 56 poll is NOT OVER YET, with Beyonce and Rachel Stevens slugging it out in a tie breaker. Meanwhile Now 57 also has its share of modern giants, as well as debut appearances by Keane, Snow Patrol, Joss Stone and the RETURN OF INDIE (ok ok it never left).

Click below the cut if you want a chance at sorting it all out.

I think Rachel S's time will come.

I would love it if Britney and Kelis both ended up tied on 100%, it would be richly deserved for both. To me 'Milkshake' is clearly better though! 'Toxic' is not even one of Brit's top 5 singles ever.

Milkshake is one of my favourite singles of all time, it still gives me spinetingles listening to it, which all the best R&B singles do in a way that few other genres can quite manage - which I find slightly odd as it's a genre I don't listen to as much as others.

And it still sounds like it was made by space aliens too.

Yes - more than any other genre I think r&b wears its goodness well, when an amazing r&b song hits it's like everyone involved has this fantastic ability to be all blasé and offhand and casual about how genius it is.

But this is an actual problem with Milkshake, she seems so bored, particularly on those tuneless "La la la la la"'s

Your Britney argument is absurdly indie.

My favourite Britney single is 'Everytime' => I cannot be indie

Milkshake is just 'any good' though, there are easily ten songs on this better than it. If it looks like it's still troubling Toxic in an hour, I'll go back and untick it.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not understand a word of this sentence, Milkshake is a true earthquaker while Toxic is a very high point but nowhere near as high. If you untick Milkshake I am going to untick Toxic!

i'm with wolfy - 'milkshake' is good but over-rated. gimme at least ten other Kelis tracks any day.

your second sentence is quite possibly true, the first is certainly not.

I just tried to do a Kelis top 10 and was completely overwhelmed by the amount of greatness she's done.
