I suspect this will be somewhat overshadowed by Justin but I'll post it anyway because of the excitement of Alan Braxe making a trance record! Well, it's a remix of a tune by someone called John Lord Fonda of whom I know nothing about but its a gorgeous filtered French take on proper 90s hands-in-the-air chart trance. Hooray.

Meanwhile you get an ADDITIONAL BONUS TRACK this week. Van She - Kelly doesn't merit its own post because it's already appeared in the podcast, but it's still my favourite record of the year so I thought I'd give it to you in its entirety. It sounds like the soundtrack to a film about Californian teenagers in a mall in 1987. Which of course it is supposed to.

Actually, what would be even better than either of these would be a remix of the second done in the style of the first. It would probably induce an immediate sugar-coma in anyone hearing it, but there's a place for hyperglycemia in everyone's record collection.

alan braxe track yet, but there *is* an alan braxe (and fred falke) remix of van she's kelly. and it's absolutely gorgeous. the hype machine (http://hype.non-standard.net/search/van%20she%20braxe/1/) is your friend.
