Well, Interpol neither really but its a hamfisted attempt at aping that effect in both cases.

I hate the Tindersticks, and I more or less hate voices like this but I'm wondering if it's the acceptable voice of Boys With Guitars.

with lex's "they can't sing' and antipathy towards teh futuremeheads, i wonder what he makes of their style of vocal harmony, which i love obv, but which also shows some vocal skill on their own terms.
